DJ MAHF

Known for his ability to move crowds, dig deep in the crates, and always keep it funky; DJ MAHF walks a fine line between artistic turntablist and party rocker. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri he began experimenting on the decks when he was in high school. Since, he has played just about every major venue in the region & has been all over the world spreading his signature sound.

In St. Louis, MO The Riverfront Times has crowned him "Best Hip Hop DJ" in '06 & '09 and most recently was named St. Louis' 2010 Red Bull Thre3style Champion and then went on to place 4th in U.S. Finals.

He has had the honor of sharing the stage with artists ranging from hip hop heavyweights Tech N9NE, Talib Kweli, & most of the Rhymesayers camp to legendary DJs such as Z-Trip & Cut Chemist. His original group Earthworms has seen it's fair share of success, locking down "Best Hip Hop Group" honors in the RFT multiple times and releasing 3 stand out full-length albums. Today, MAHFis a very active member of Indyground and has put in work on a number of releases & tours with Kansas City's Steddy P. 2011 will be the duo's busiest year to date.

MAHF has always been active in the mixtape game as well. Ongoing series such as Homemade Junk & Press Play At Night keep fans satisfied, but the projects to come will see him exploring even more new territory. When at home, DJ MAHF holds down a number of weekly & monthly gigs in towns around the Midwest.
